About Me
I am a 43 year old with over 25 years of childcare experience. I am looking for part-time work as a nanny.
I have been described as very competent and trustworthy by the previous families that I have worked for and am caring and fun whilst also keeping to routines.
I really enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading books and baking with the children that I work with and also getting outside as much as possible and watching how the children learn and develop.
My Experience
I have worked with children aged from newborn to 12 in lots of different settings but mainly as a nanny.
In my last job I was a nanny to 3 little girls for 3.5 years. ( one of which was born whilst I was there). I used to take them to and from school/play school, cook them healthy meals, do numerous craft activities, read to them daily, take them out and about for walks and trips to the park etc. Settle them down for naps and do bathtime/bedtime routine and everything else involved with looking after 3 young children!
My other jobs before this include working in a nursery, being a mother's help for a mum who had 6 month old twins and a 3 year old, working at a summer playscheme, working with children with learning disabilities in a special school and out of school activities centre and also being a nanny for 7 and 9 year old brothers.
