My husband and I have a joyful and spunky two-year-old daughter Aveline and a newborn baby boy, Jamie. Aveline loves dancing, singing, and artsy activities!
I (Alex) am an American author, and work from home. My husband (Chris) is a British management consultant and we have a sweet-tempered floofy golden retriever dog named Macallan - pictured in our profile.
We're seeking a full-time nanny starting immediately, ideally with hours 7:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday through Friday, but we're flexible on this.
My Requirements
We're seeking someone with both newborn and toddler experience. As a writer, I'd particularly love someone who can bring some creative energy to the role!
Aveline attends nursery in our neighborhood Monday-Wednesday, so tasks would involve helping her get ready for nursery, taking her there at 8:00 am, and assisting with newborn care the remainder of the day. On Thursdays and Fridays, Aveline will frequently visit her grandparents, but there are times when they're not available, in which case we'd like you to watch after Aveline while I primarily take Jamie.
Aveline is a very engaging, outgoing kid who loves to explore, so we're seeking someone proactive who's comfortable taking her out and about. That said, we have plenty of books and toys for rainy days.
There are some light housekeeping duties involved, namely laundry and keeping the the play area and kids' bedrooms tidy. (We have a cleaner who comes weekly for deep cleans).
We would prefer someone who has their own car.
