My Summary
About Me
A well mannered, articulate and responsible part time nanny and babysitter, with a great deal of experience and interest in looking after children. A confident child carer who can easily adapt to both the family and children’s needs with a proven track record of satisfied parents.
I am a university undergraduate studying in Newcastle (located in Jesmond).
My Experience
- Nanny for a family in Balham Sept 2021.
From 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday I nannied two kids (ages of 4 and 6) for the first two terms of the school year before leaving for my ski season. During my hours I would arrive in time for the kids breakfast, feed them and then get them both ready for school while preparing their packed lunches. Take them to school and back and then complete the daily homework’s they would be set. Once everything was completed we would always do an activity - my hosting family really encouraged the kids to get outside as much as possible and minimal time on screens, so we would go to the park as many days of the week possible when it wasn’t raining. When it was raining I would bring over activity books to complete or do drawings together which always went down well. While the kids were at school I would do some basic cleaning around the house such as; unload and hang up everything from the washing machine, make the kids beds, clear the kitchen and living room area, unload and load the dishwasher and finally, prep for the kids dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed working with this family and loved spending time with the kids, I would frequently babysit on weekends when the parents had plans and was always happy to stay late if work had overran.
- Babysitting in the Wandsworth area — June 2019 till present day.
I have done several babysitting jobs for a number of families in my local area, Wandsworth. I advertised myself to numerous parents at my previous school, Broomwood Hall, who often get in contact with me when in need of someone to look after the kids after school on certain days or babysitting. However, for one family in particular I became their nanny on weekends and frequently during school holidays/half term (Elsynge Road). Where I was required to make the beds, clean up the house and ensure the dishwasher was unloaded and cleared away daily. I am still currently doing this and have been for the past two years.

- Bus chaperone at Streatham and Clapham High School — 5th september 2019 till June 25th 2021.
I was employed by my school and the GDST, working as a bus chaperone three times a week, both before and after school hours. A bus chaperone looks after a group of 15 girls and was mainly needed on each bus that had girls in year 3 and below to ensure seatbelts were on at all times and that they were comfortable within the buses environment — this was especially needed in the mornings when they were to be separated from their parents, which for the majority of the time was always the hardest part. While looking after the younger girls, the chaperone was also required to make sure every other student on the bus was safe and got on and off the bus at the correct times, and leaving with their allocated guardian or parent.
- School week nanny for a family in Tooting Bec during the month of June 2021.
During the month of June, I took 2 kids (aged 5 and 7) to school and back everyday. Following on from this, after school pick ups I would help with any homework that needed doing and helped clean up around the house, ensuring all was tidy before the parents returned home.
- Working as a chalet girl for a family based company in the French Alps - Ski Famille.
Over the past 4 months I’ve been working as a chalet girl, hosting, cleaning and entertaining guests of all ages. As the company was very much family based, we would be in the company of a number of young children every week. Due to this, during the process of hiring we were DBS checked and had a thorough interview to ensure we were able to work with kids of all ages. In addition, we were given both basic first aid training and food hygiene training which we were then tested upon arrival on the season.
My Qualifications
A DBS check that I completed when working for Streatham and Clapham as a bus chaperone provided by the GDST company, which, then later on, got updated and checked before going on my Ski Season as I was working for a family based company - Ski Famille, where I was hosting and supervising young children every week.
My Availability
I am available all through the school week and on weekends whether that be for daytime babysitting or evening.
