I am a recent graduate student from the University of Manchester, who is based in the Bishopston/Horfield area. I am an outgoing and confident individual who loves to connect with families to help support the best I can. I am hoping to provide morning/afternoon/evening childcare on the weekdays and flexible to work on weekends. I enjoy cooking and reading, both of which I would be happy to bring to the role, as well as cleanings tasks if needed. I enjoy sports and the outdoors and would be keen to engage young ones in this too.
My Experience
My previous experience includes working as a childminder in the summer holidays and working as a playworker in a primary school. During the my childminder time, I would support by cooking the children lunches and dinner, as well as take them out for activities and to sports clubs in the day. I also have worked for families during afterschool pick-up and assisted with homework support.
I have worked also as a playworker assistant at Cotham Garden Primary school, where I would engage the children in activities and games, help clean and distribute snacks. A parent for whom I have babysat said, 'she is warm, responsible and always came up with activities for kids.' A professional reference explained 'she's very bubbly, friendly, and very confident with parents and children'.
My Qualifications
I am studying an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am undergoing a renew of my DBS check now.
