About Me
Hi, I'm Elena Dixon. My childminding business is called Elena's childcare. I am 26 and I live in Colne with my partner Jack and our 1 year old son Dylan.
I am a fully qualified paediatric nurse as well as having my level 3 childcare qualification.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery for two years before leaving after my maternity leave. Whilst at college i did a variety of childcare placements such as in a nursery, at a child's home and in a primary school. During my nurse training I have done placements with children ranging from premature babies up to the age of 18. I have 3 god children that I have spent a lot of time with since they were born. Also whilst I was at college I did a lot of baby sitting in the evenings for a range of different families. I have references from them if you wish to see them.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified Children's Nurse and I have a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years. As well as my nursing qualification I have a paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding level 1 and 2 and I am going to complete a food hygiene course.
My Availability
I will be available all year round but I will be closed for christmas for a week. My opening hours will be 8am-6pm (possible other hours availlable on request).
