I’m A student going in my last year of studying my special needs and sociology degree. I work part time in a residential care home.
My Experience
I have 11 months experience in A special needs school working with children with all different additional support needs. I have 3 months experience working in mainstream schools and 2 months working in a nursery. I also have plenty experience with family children who I babysit often. I have several years experience in caring for dementia patients and the elderly as I worked in home care and now work within a residential home.
My Qualifications
I have a HND in Additional Support Needs and a HNC in social services and a higher childcare qualification. I’m working to get my special needs with teaching degree and will be going into my last year. Along side this I have moving and handling qualifications and many higher, national 5s and 4 qualifications.
My Availability
As I am still at uni my availability may vary around holiday times and with my work rota. Over the summer months (middle of June til late august/September) I am more likely to be available.
