About Me
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with experience of teaching KS1 and KS2. I provide fun tuition, helping to develop children's confidence and improve their progress in maths.
I have DBS Check and professional teaching qualification certificates which I can provide during a free consultation.
My Experience
Since graduating from Oxford Brookes University where I studied Primary Teacher Education, I have gained a wealth of experience in teaching children in a variety of primary school settings in England.
This has led to the development of a deeper understanding of how children of varying abilities and with different needs can be supported to achieve their best in maths.
I have also acquired a strong knowledge of the maths curriculum, and, in turn, the expectations for pupils at different stages of primary school. This has allowed me to accurately assess children's understanding and to help them make excellent progress.

David has been brilliant with our son, who is currently in Year 4. He has worked with him to build his confidence and self belief, which were lacking in a school setting. David makes the lessons fun, with mathematical games as well as more standard work. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone in search of a Maths tutor.
