About Me
Hi! I am a recent songwriting degree graduate and musician. I currently work part-time as a play worker in a primary school. I am DBS checked. My varied experience working with children has engaged a passion for sharing creativity. I believe that, in order to flourish, children need the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and interests (creative and interpersonal, as well as academic). My own creativity is rooted in crossing the boundaries between music, storytelling, and poetry; a fusion that has inspired all my voluntary and paid work experience and continues to motivate my aspirations. I have experience as a singer, songwriter, poet, instrumentalist, and musical theory. I am hard working, and committed to my areas of practice.
My Experience
I currently work as a play worker, where I assist in delivering the after-school club for children aged 4-11. My responsibilities encompass; activity design and delivery, indoor and outdoor play, check in and wellbeing, paperwork (health and safety checks, evaluation form in line with EYFS, Key child evaluation), cleaning duties. I have experience in a primary school classroom, assisting a KS1 class with reading and music. Further, I have tutored a GCSE student in English Literature and Language. These roles have developed my key skill to keep an informative rapport with parents. I have experience with EYFS and early years care, providing babysitting services ad hoc for five years for ages 1 to 11. I have provided and co-run creative activities and a songwriting workshop - I wish to continue using my areas of expertise to work with children in an academic and creative capacity. I can provide play opportunities and academic support.

A Levels (2019) English Literature (A), Religious Studies (A), Performing Arts (Distinction *), Extended Project Qualification (in French music) (A*)
My Availability
Availability is never the same, I currently work part-time in child-care and as a working musician. At present, I work afternoons and evenings but my availability will soon change as the primary school summer term finishes.
