About Me
Hello I’m Jasmine! I’m 20 years old currently studying psychology at University to become a child psychologist. I have previous experience looking after two young children. Helping the family out with early morning school drop offs and pick ups, making their tea, homework help and also weekends. I am kind, compassionate person who is also a great listener. I have a younger brother and lots of younger cousins with whom I have looked after on multiple occasions. I am professional but can also create and join in fun activities to keep the children occupied.
My Experience
I have work experience working in a primary school, helping children in the class with their school work. This work experience also included taking smaller groups out who were struggling with their work and helping them to learn how to tell the time, their times tables and malign paper mache art projects! Additional to my work experience, I have a BTEC extended certificate in health and social care and have completed an online non accredited course- managing ADHD, autism, learning difficulties and seizures in a school environment. I also have 6 months experience babysitting for a family with two children. I have applied my knowledge from this non accredited course to a family I have baby sat for before.
My Qualifications
I have a distinction in health and social care which covers many topics on child development and child care support. I also have a distinction in psychology and applied science.
I have also completed two online courses. One of which was learning about autism, ADHD, concussions and learning disorders in young children and adolescents, the second course I have completed is health and safety of a child care home centre.
My Availability
My availability is weekends and some weekday evenings.
