About Me

Hey everyone,

I hope my profile will be pleasant.

My name is Wafa and I am a french nanny.
I am 27 years old. I've lived in London for 7 years now!

I am looking for a new full time position from September 2024.

I am qualified in childcare (Level 3 Early Years Educator) since July 2023. I worked 5 years in a bilingual nursery in Clapham as a teaching assistant. After those incredible years, I wanted to focus on one to one childcare but I also wanted to get more experience with the under 2.

I moved in London as an au pair in 2017, looked after three children and stayed with them 3 years. I was also working at the nursery at the same time. Double job!
After that, as they didn't need help anymore in childcare (the girls were older now) I helped them with french tutoring. I've built an amazing relationship with this family.

Then, I found myself another job as an after school nanny for another family. Another incredible family! Three children also with one child with additional needs.
I really enjoyed my time with them.

My last position started in March 2024 as a full time housekeeper / nanny for a child aged 4 years old. Unfortunately, I have to leave the position as the child is going to school full time and the family can't offer me the full time position anymore.

When it comes to my personality, I am always smiling. I love life and I try to bring joy whenever I can. I love making jokes and try to make the children laugh. I am a very fun nanny!
I am organised (maybe a bit too much!), caring and very kind.

The most important thing for me is to work as a team with the parents for the well being of the children. Communication in my work is key.

I am willing to work very hard to make the children happy.

I can also offer my skills as a french tutor if you want them to develop a new language and I am very great at cooking (very important)!
