About Me
Hi, My name is Clair, I am a registered childminder. I offer term time only / full time / flexible days.
I'm based in Eltham off well hall road, South east London. I'm married and have 3 lovely children, Daughter 14 years old, Son 10 years old and daughter 3 years old. We do have a family dog Cockapoo called Monty, he is 8 years old, very friendly and used to children.
I made the decision to start up my own business after my youngest daughter was born, I have researched all aspects of child care including the EYFS and I am qualified in Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare (HBCA)
I have also gained my first aid certificate in paediatric first aid.
My true passion is child development and I have enrolled in extra courses to gain a better understanding of this subject .
I run my business from my family home, there is a designated play room and a good size garden with lots of resources where the children in my care do their activities.
We do visit local toddler groups, parks, libraries, fun parks and forest schools.

It has never been easy for me to be away from my little one but Clair made it so easy for me.
I always felt at peace and happy knowing he was having so much fun and was being taken care of by her.
There were days he didn’t even want to come back or he would cry as he wanted to stay more.
Amar changed a few Childminders until we found “Clair Clair” and he would call her, and that was it.
I would like to specially thank her for how you dealt when Amar was having tantrums, for teaching him how to be independent with dressing and undressing, teaching him every day a new thing except for just letting him have fun.
Pictures at “Clair Clair” as Amar says are a favourite place for him to go sometimes and see them.
He miss her very much and me and my husband are lucky to have met a childminder like her.
We would like to book a place for us when the second one will come as well.
Besides jokes, we really appreciate her efforts for taking care of our little one.

I feel so lucky to have found Clair. The time my son Frederick spent with her has been absolutely wonderful. I am so grateful for the love, care, and the richness of every moment Frederick spent with Clair. She is truly amazing and any child in her care is truly lucky.There is no evidence stronger that seeing your child smiling wide and jumping in his car seat when you appeoach your childminder house shouting wit Joy Clair..Clair's house...hearing your child asking you over and over to bring him back to Clair. ....Thank you Clair and we will be back.

We have known Clair and her family for many years and she has looked after my younger son Philip regularly over some time. He absolutely adores her and loves spending time in Clair's house, which has a fantastic well equipped play room, spacious kitchen, and amazing garden space. Clair has a great natural way of connecting and dealing with children from very small to older teenagers. Her friendly yet professional manner in engaging with children and young people beings the best in their mood, development and wellbeing. She is always enthusiastic with a great energy around kids, and ability to create a safe, educational and fun environment for anyone involved. Would absolutely recommend Clair to look after your child! Philip is literally calls Clair's home his second favourite place after his own family house!

Clair is so amazing our little girl loves the time she spends with her during the week. Clair has taken a genuine interest in Luna's happiness and development.
We couldn't be happier with our daughters development while being with clair.
Luna is our first child and I was so grateful for all the help and advice we got.
We got lots of help and encouragement from clair from feeding to teeth brushing, walking, talking and encouraging luna genrally in help ing with her development.
Help when luna had a temperature or was feeling a little ill.
encouraging luna to engage with other children whilst out and about.
Taking her to playgroups and engaging in learning activities and lots of fun.
Daily pictures were sent to us which made us feel included throughout the day.
I felt confident clair could manage any challenge with our luna.
So so happy with our time with clair.
