About Me
Hi, my name is Liz and I own and run LIZ’S LITTLE LEAPFROGS (Childminding Services).
I am a very caring, friendly and trustworthy person with a warm and loving nature. I have always had a passion for working with children and feel so lucky to be in the career I have chosen!
I live with my lovely husband, our gorgeous 11 year old son and our very friendly cat called Libby! Our happy home is situated in Hempshill Vale, Bulwell, Nottingham which is very close to the local school, Hempshill Hall Primary.
I understand that choosing the right person to care for your precious children is one of the most important decisions that you will have to make. It can be a very daunting experience, one that I understand all too well.
But at LIZ’S LITTLE LEAPFROGS, you can feel safe and confident in the knowledge that you are leaving your child in very capable hands!
Not only am I an Ofsted Registered Childminder, I am also a fully qualified Nursery Nurse with over 25 years worth of experience in childcare.
My Experience
I have extensive experience of working with children of all ages, including my own child and my various employments in a wide range of childcare settings.
I have many qualifications and certificates including my NNEB Cache Diploma in Nursery Nursing, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Understanding the EYFS, Advanced Food Hygiene, Creating Confident Children and Enhanced DBS. I have public liability insurance and a 7 seater car with business use insurance.
As well as an extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, I also have a large range of fun and educational toys and resources for your child to play with.
I offer a friendly and welcoming home from home environment which will help your child grow in confidence and develop skills in all areas of their development, whilst having fun learning through play with a wide range of experiences.
At LIZ’S LITTLE LEAPFROGS we go on various different outings to the park, the library, toddler groups, farms etc. We also enjoy baking, building models, play dough, playing in my large, safe and enclosed garden, lots of creative/messy play, puzzles, games, singing nursery rhymes, dancing and more!!!
I offer healthy, home cooked meals and always try to encourage children to try new things. You are also welcome to provide your own meals/drinks for your child.

My Availability
I offer wrap around care for Hempshill Hall Primary School.
I also offer full, half days and holiday care.
My opening hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Term time only contracts are welcome.
I also offer tax free childcare and childcare voucher payment.

Carter's growth since starting with liz has been amazing he's come on so much. He loves his time there, often running through the door with a smile on his face to see his friends. It’s a nurturing environment, where carter and the rest of the children are looked after as if they was her own! guiding and teaching them while allowing them to explore and grow. Liz sends me all the information on carter's day along with pictures so i can see just how much fun he's been having. I know i can trust liz 100% with my son and would definitely recommend anyone looking for a childminder.

Liz is a phenomenal child minder, she has helped me a lot with my little boy. My little boy has a speech problem and it was amazing how he started saying words just after a couple of weeks being with her, Liz has good communication skills, and is very friendly. Your child will be in good hands if you choose Liz's Little Leapfrogs childminding and your mind will be at peace. I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Liz for her patience and support for my little boy.

Liz has given our daughter such fantastic experiences. She was happy with her from day one and we are happy to found someone who was so willing to take on her medical issues too. She has been fab! Thank you Liz, highly recommend this lady and her lovely home. Xxx
