About Me
I have 7 children age ranging from 10-31 years old. I have 12 year old grand daughter and have looked after her since she was a few months old when my elderst daughter went back to work. I'm also a Foster Mother to my youngest child so have an Enhanced DBS
I'm friendly , happy , approachable and chatty . I am very family orientated , have a level head and would hope to " fit in " to any family to help with any child care needs .
We have 1 dog and i am an animal lover. As a family we enjoy walks on the beach, trips to the theatre and spending time together. I enjoy art , going to galleries , reading , cooking and music .
Before having children I worked in Fashion and then Retail Area Management. Since starting a family i have worked in the childcare sector as a Nanny and historically in SENCO departments in local schools..I have also been a TA in previous years
I have a full clean drivers licence so am able to take children to parks, play groups, play dates amd other outing. . I can help with Newborns and l can support new Parents establish routines I have extensive experience with all ages of children .
My Experience
Many years experience raising my own childen , grandaughter and foster son - so have experience from newborns and all ages.
I have been a Nanny for some years and have predominantly been caring for newborns up to Pre School ages
In the past i have run baby/toddler groups and Sunday school sessions too . When my youngest two children were small I ran a 'Sing and Sign' group so im able to use Makaton and I've also been a volunteer at local " New Mums " groups ( in conjuction with a Doctors Surgery ) and given advice and support to new mums either in their homes or at designated support groups I'm very happy and sociable and enjoy my childcare vocation.
I've obviously run a busy household for over 30 years so can assist with daily household tasks . i have been a lunch time assistant and Classroom Teaching Assistant while my older children were at Junior School so have good knowledge of the curriculum too, especially at Pre and Infant School level ( EYFS)

I am looking for a Nanny position on on Wednesday and Friday . I can work in term time or throughout the School holidays Additonally i can offer evening and weekend babysitting .
