About Me
I am a responsible and reliable individual who is passionate about child care and child welfare, which is at the heart of all that I do in working with young people. If requested, I am also more than happy to provide light housework, cook meals, and drop off and pick up your children from school or extra curricular activities. I am an involved and creative childminder who endeavours to engage with all the children in my care through imaginative play, creative activities, or homework, and can be relied upon to support your families individual needs and values. My Experience
Over the last two years, I have been lucky enough to enjoy vast experience working in Primary Schools with Foundation aged children all the way up to Year 6 as I work towards a career in Primary School teaching, which has enabled me to gain the experience to work as a babysitter and childminder for a year. I have also provided childminding care for babies and toddlers during this period. I am knowledgeable and highly experienced in the care of children from newborn babyhood up to the age of 11, and I take my responsibility in this role incredibly seriously.
My Qualifications
I am fully DBS checked, First Aid certified and CPR trained, as well as experienced in Early Years education. In terms of education, I have completed 3 A Levels achieving two As and a B, and I am currently in my second year of study for a degree at a Russell Group University. Following the completion of my bachelor's degree, I will undertake a PGCE in order to qualify as a primary school teacher.
My Availability
I am relatively flexible and happy to work to a time that suits you and your family, whatever your needs may be. This means that I can be counted on whether you need a babysitter just for an hour, or are looking for a full day, and anything in between! Though I typically do not work overnight, I am happy to do so in exceptional circumstances. Please check my detailed availability for more information.
