About Me
Hi my name is Kim and I am a registered early educator based in Carshalton Surrey.
I am a mother of three grown up children and for the past 19 years I have worked in the care industry working my way up to being a care home manager for individuals with a wide range of specialist needs.
I have a deep and genuine passion for nurturing young children and helping them learn.
I understand it is difficult leaving your little ones so want to make this as pleasant as possible by ensuring a quality of care that will give you piece of mind.
I'm Forest Education trained so I help children to learn and develop by using my local green space, as all of the children will be pre school aged, that way they can form strong friendships and support one another to reach their mile stones.
I have also undertaken training in safe sleep and the EYFS curriculum. I enjoy cooking and prepare home cooked meals everyday, providing a home-from-home environment for your little ones.
I have chosen to care for a maximum of 3 under 5's at one time to guarantee that each child receives the necessary 1:1 attention they deserve.
During my leisure time I enjoy horse riding, cooking for my family, walking in the evenings and spending time around animals.
I have 1 cat called Harvey who is fully vaccinated and child friendly. Animals have always played an important role in my household by teaching my children responsibilities, to be empathetic and caring, loving them as much as they love you back, also knowing when they want to play and when they dont.
My Experience
I am a mother of three grown up children, a nanny (Feb 2025) an Aunt of 13 and a Great Aunt of 18 (If this is not enough experience!).?
My Qualifications
I have a lever 5 Diploma in Adult health and social care.
Paediatric first aid.
Mandatory E-Learning and face to face training on Infection control, food hygiene, sleep matters, safeguarding children and adults, Learning and Development.
Handling difficult conversations.
PBS (Positive behavioural support).
Outdoor Learning with Little Forest folk in Wimbledon.
Welfare requirement training.
EYFS (Early years foundation stage).
My Availability
07:00-17.30pm.

I will have a vacancy from July 2025 Monday to Thursday full days only.
Summer holiday vacancies Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

My daughter goes to Kim on an ad hoc basis for inset days etc so she's a little older than the other children. Kim provides age appropriate activities and has taught new skills that I hadn't thought to do.
My daughter took to Kim straight away and loves spending time with her and asks often when she will be going again.
Kim's home is very child friendly with lots to do and she provides lovely healthy meals and snacks, she also varies their outdoor activities.
I'm so glad I found her!

I also love spending time with your very sweet daughter too.
Kim is absolutely wonderful! Our son can’t wait to get out of the car every morning and has a huge smile on his face when he sees Kim. He settled in straight away and is so happy with her. She is kind, caring and has a loving, calm nature with children.
The meals are all healthy and freshly made, and provide a varied diet.
Our son loves the other children at Kim’s-it has definitely been great for his speech and social development.
They are always out on adventures and Kim sends updates and pictures of what they have been up to each day, which we love receiving!
We know our son is safe and happy everyday which makes going to work a lot easier.
We are so lucky we found Kim!

Kim is an amazing childminder, she has been looking after my daughter for just over a month now and my daughter has the best time whenever she goes to Kim’s house! She loves doing arts and crafts and signing nursery rhymes. My daughter especially loves going to soft plays and the farm where Kim has taken her a few times, would highly recommend!

Your little one has so much enthusiasm for everything we do, i love looking after her 💕
Kim has been absolutely brilliant and I would recommend her services to anyone seeking childcare!
She is just great at what she does as it comes naturally to her.
I was lucky to find Kim to look after my boys (3 & 6 years old) at short notice and she was more than accommodating to any needs required to make sure the boys were happy, comfortable, safe and make the whole day fun for both the boys.
She would pick up and drop off for school runs, meanwhile throughout the day takes the youngest out to play at parks, playgrounds etc.
Kim also makes meals the boys look forward to eating each day which my eldest certainly got excited about and enjoyed!
It was lovely to hear that just after a few days they both said they love being with her and look forward to seeing her again in her lovely home that is a fantastic setting for kids.
We all hope to see Kim again in the future, thank you for everything! 😊

It certainly was short notice but i will always try to accommodate where possible.
I am so glad I agreed to do the childcare as i had the opportunity to meet and get to know two lovely little boys, it was an absolute pleasure looking after them and planning their meals with their input.

My little girl is only 7 months old and I was really worried about her going to a childminder but, Kim has made the transition so easy and my little girl has settled amazingly. She always has a smile on her face when we arrive at Kim’s and even though she is 7 months, she is engaging with the other children that Kim has and they are so caring towards her. Kim has made this experience so much more easier for us and I’m so thankful. Would recommended 100%

It is very important to me that there is capatability within the setting, especially when i have such a young child that will need kindness, gentleness and love. 💕
Kim is amazing! My son has been with Kim for a little while now and he's adores her! He's always so happy to be there! He has come on leaps and bounds since being with her. She's also so reassuring for first time parents, She's got a very warm welcoming family feeling. I would 100% recommend going to Kim!
