My Summary

My Experience

I have been babysitting for my aunts and uncles children my entire life - ever since I can remember, really! Whilst a lot of my experience is unofficial and casual, ranging from helping eight year olds with homework to changing nappy’s of one year old’s, I do also have some professional experience. In 2022 I decided to take a gap year before pursuing university and in this year I worked part-time as a nanny for a private nanny agency. I was matched with a family in north London, looking after two young boys, aged one and three, and my responsibilities mainly included pick ups from school, supervising and engaging in playtimes, preparing dinner, running baths and putting them to bed. I have also done a lot of late night babysitting for this family which has always gone by swiftly, and I have a lot of experience in handling two children at once, especially the young one’s!

My Qualifications

Although I don’t have qualifications in childcare, I have a lot of experience. Apart from childcare qualifications, I have eight GCSE’s, a MERIT grade from the London Screen Academy and an A in English Literature A Level. I am a current English Literature student in Cardiff but the summertime means lots of free hours that I am able to do babysitting/nannying!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)

My fees vary depending on times throughout the day. For babysitting in the morning/before school it is £11 p.hr. For babysitting after school it is £10.50 p.hr. Late evenings and overnights are £12 p.hr. Of course, this is just a rough guide and I am totally willing to accept whatever rates a family is happy to pay!
