Hello, My name is Sarah, thank you for clicking on my profile. I am based in Widnes - close to Fiddlers ferry power station.
I began working with children in 2010. I had been made redundant from my office based job, my eldest son was one at the time. I decided to try a change of career and I have never looked back! I went back to college full time, completed my childcare qualifications and was offered a job as a nursery nurse in the private day nursery that I had completed my placement hours in.
Over the years I have gained experience in the following roles - room leader, babysitter, level 3 teaching assistant leading a school based two year old provision, teaching assistant within a school pre school and teaching assistant within a primary school supporting children ( early years, key stage1 and key stage 2 ) on a one to one basis, as well as being a Mum to my little family.
In August 2022 I began my most exciting role, I became an ofsted registered childminder. I have created a lovely, welcoming and stimulating home based environment for children.
I have two sons of my own; Josh now 17 and Ted age 8 as well as three stepchildren. My husband is called Gary and we have two small female dogs.
We have had both dogs since they were puppies and they have grown up alongside Josh and Ted. As I have a dedicated indoor and outdoor space for children the dogs will be kept separate as much as possible. They just like a quick hello :-)
We have our own ‘nursery room’, own downstairs bathroom and access to our own part of the garden. We like to explore the world around us and go on lots of lovely outings to: libraries, museums, nature walks, childminding groups, soft play, farms and many, many more!
I am able to offer before and after school care for Moorfield Primary School.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Full day 7:30am - 5:30pm £50 or £5 per hour (minimum of 6 hours per day)
Before school 7:30am - 8:35am £6
After school 3:10pm - 5:30pm £12
Evening Babysitting by arrangement.
Fees include all meals, snacks, nappies, wet wipes, nappy cream, suncream, outings.

Sarah has been looking after my little boy for around 4 months and he adores her. She is great with the children caring, loving and just amazing to be around. My little boys always welcomes Sarah with a big smile and huge cuddle. She is very passionate about working with the children and goes above and beyond every time we see her. I was really nervous to start from changing from a nursery to a childminder but Sarah soon put me and my family at ease and we definitely made the right decision. She is always reliable, enthusiastic and must have lots of patience caring for my little climber. We receive regular handovers and pictures throughout the day to see how our baby is getting on and all the exiting activities he is up to. My little boy has come on in leaps and bounds through all of the exiting learning opportunities Sarah offers throughout the days he is with him. Would definitely be recommending Sarah to all of the lovely mummy’s and daddy’s out there.

Sarah has been babysitting our two boys every week for the past 7 months. They look forwards to her coming round and love sharing stories with her about their day. She is caring, fun, punctual and flexible with availability. A fantastic babysitter; we are lucky to have her!

Sarah has been babysitting my 3 boys over the last few months. and is an absolute gem. The kids adore her and she has so much patience, care and enthusiasm.
She’s made bedtime stories an exciting event where they all join in together and she always gets them to sleep brilliantly.
She also sends me a message when they’re asleep so I can enjoy my evening without worrying or wondering!
