I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with an agency. At my home nursery in Camberwell, I care for children aged 8 months to 5 years. I have an assistant and have a ratio of 1 adult to 2 or 3 children which helps to channel individual attention. Varied local green spaces as a learning environment every day.
As all the children in my care are preschool age, they can form strong friendships and can support one another to reach their next milestone.
Spending some of my childhood living in Jamaica really allowed me to flourish and develop a love for the country's natural beauty and for nature. I hope to introduce this love for the outdoors to your little one too!
A love for children and childcare runs in the family as one of my two children I live with is a nanny.
I provide home cooked lunches everyday and snacks whilst out and about on morning adventures. I am fully trained in food hygiene and preparing food safely. My menu rotates every 4 weeks so as we tuck in to eat as a family around the table, mealtimes remain exciting and fresh for the children.
A good quality nap after lunch helps the brain to grow as well re-energise before a jam-packed afternoon of activities. I am trained in safe sleep and my sleep spaces have been designed with safety and hygiene in mind.
My Experience
As well as mum to a 21 year old and a 15 year old, I have worked 16 years in education. 11 of those years have been in primary schools working across all year groups and children with special educational needs. It certainly has given me a wealth of activity inspiration!

My Availability
My hours are Mondays to Thursdays 8am to 6pm. I work term time so the nursery is closed at the Christmas and Easter half terms and all of August for the summer holiday term.
I do after-school pick ups from Brunswick Park School in Camberwell.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
The fees are £80 per day or the hourly rate of £8. Fees are inclusive of everything your child will need such as nappies, milk, hot meals, etc.
Afterschool pick ups and care are £10 per hour inclusive of a light hot meal/snacks , activities and/or homework assistance.
