My Requirements
My name is Clare and my family are looking for some help with our elder son, T (10). He was recently diagnosed with autism and we have decided to full time home school as he was becoming really anxious with the demands of mainstream.
We are in the process of building his alternative timetable and we are looking for someone to look after him in our home for a few hours three times a week in the afternoon. He finishes home school with my Mum (who lives next door) around 1 and we’d be looking for some help between 2-4/5pm. This is to allow me to work and to pick up my other son from school around 4.15 (I am usually home about 5). This would be Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
Ideally we would like someone who could drive T to his activities on a Tuesday.
We would like someone who is willing to play and perhaps do some crafty things with him. We have a garden and T loves to play football and run around. Sometimes he likes to just chill and watch tv or play with toys.
Some occasional help with evening babysitting would be great at a later date but not essential.
