About Me
I am currently studying a masters at Bristol University. I have over two years experience in children's gymnastics coaching, of ages 4-16 years old and have spent the past year working one-on-one with a girl with cerebral palsy as her learning assistant, as well as tutoring maths, English and science at GCSE level. I am a patient and enthusiastic person who loves working with children. I am very artistic, with an A level in Art and Design, as well as sporty, coaching netball as well as gymnastics.
My Experience
I worked for APPA (Academy of Professional Physical Arts), a ballet school in Belfast for two years. Here I coached children in artistic gymnastics and acrobatics. This allowed me to develop my caring nature and understanding that every child has a different 'best' to aspire to. My role as learning support assistant enabled me to become very patient and understanding of the differences children both have and require in their education. I have been tutoring maths, English and science at GCSE level for the past year, as well as 11+.
My Qualifications
I have an undergraduate degree in Environmental Geography from Cardiff university. Grade: 2:1.
I also have A level English, Art and Geography.
I have undertaken many courses throughout my time in a primary school, including;
