About Me
Hello my name is Yvonne and I run Little Wildlings Childminding. I live in Weymouth with my blended family of 7. Myself and my family absolutely love the outdoors and I believe that children thrive when out in nature and fill their days with new experiences and adventure.
We are a very active family and spend a lot of time in the forest and local beaches. You will often see our campervan filled with paddleboards, bikes and scooters and all the extras that come with our adventures. My goal as a childminder is allow children to experience nature come rain or shine and fill their days with adventures so they hopefully have lots of stories to tell their parents about.
My Experience
Before attending Exeter university I worked in a local secondary school for many years assisting in the English department as well as working closely with the business development team within the school. I then went on to obtain a degree from Exeter university in Childhood and Youth Studies. I have also work with local youth groups over the years and more recently since having twins (now age 6) been working within financial service sector. I have just completed a Childminding Certificate through PACEY and am fully qualified in paediatric first aid and level 2 safeguarding
