About Me
My name is Angie Cooper & in September 2018 I became an Ofsted Registered "Nanny".
Alongside this, I offer a specific support service for children with additional needs. I have two sons - Will is 24 and was diagnosed Autistic, ADHD, Dyspraxic & with Dyslexic tendancies when he was 12 (after a six year battle with the authorities) - Joe is 21 and was diagnosed with ADHD also at 12. I have worked in childcare (especially with Additional Needs) since 2002 and I am qualified to Honours Degree Level.
Because I have a personal "interest" in Autism and additional needs I find myself drawn towards that area of education. As my boys were growing up I noticed a distinct lack of support and empathy from certain professionals and unfortunately there is still very little out there, so this is why I decided to start my own support service for children & young people with additional needs.

My Experience
I have over 20 years experience in childcare, working with children from birth right up to adulthood. I have personal and professional experience with Autism (particularly PDA), ADHD and other learning disabilities.
My Qualifications
I am qualified from NVQ Level 2 to Honours Degree, Ofsted registered, Enhanced DBS and Fully Insured. I also hold up to date safeguarding and first aid certificates.
