About Me
I am starting medical school in London this September and looking for part time employment alongside this. I have always loved sports and being active, having played at a regional level in netball, I have coached and mentored younger players for the last couple of years. I enjoy being in the fresh air and I love taking my sister on days out to farms, parks and the zoo.
My Experience
I am passionate about working with children. I have been a babysitter for a range of children across different ages alongside my studies which has developed my key skills such as age appropriate communication, active listening and patience. My duties have included collecting children from school, giving them meals at scheduled times and then completing their bedtime routines. Moreover, having a ten year gap between my sister and I, has allowed me to experience firsthand a realistic insight into caring for a child from newborn to school age. After achieving A*A*A in my A levels this summer, I have tutored several secondary school age children maths and I would be happy to help with any children homework if that is something you are interested in. I currently work as healthcare assistant in a primary healthcare setting for the homeless and I am in the process of completing my first aid and care qualifications.
My Qualifications
I achieved A*A*A in my a levels and I have my Diana award. I also completed health check training and I am in process of completing my first aid training and care certificate.
My Availability
Currently I work 2 days a week between 9.30 and 2.30 pm and so ideally I would be looking for a part time job either 3 days or less or that would work around my other commitment.
