About Me
Hi my name is Bella, I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I work alongside another very experienced childminder who also happens to be my sister together with an assistant. We work from a well established home based setting which has been adapted to a very high standard with a large playroom which includes all resources for Early Years. Our location is in close proximity to two primary schools, Merryhills and Grange Park and directly opposite a playground which is used regularly as part of our outdoor play. Working with family means we have great communication and together we have created a safe, happy and fun learning environment for the children.
My Experience
I decided to retrain as a childminder in 2022, my previous background was as a personal assistant with Hertfordshire Constabulary, although a very different role there was the safeguarding element where I gained a wealth of experience working in partnership with various authorities. I am enjoying working in early years and have to say this is the most rewarding role I have had to date. Having a vital part in educating and stimulating children through play in a fun, care free environment and laying the foundation for their transition into school has been amazing. I also enjoy working alongside parents to support and understand their child's development.
