My Experience
During the final year of my undergraduate degree, I volunteered at a local Stay & Play group, where I planned and facilitated engaging activities for young children and their parents to enjoy together. This experience deepened my understanding of creating a fun, interactive environment that fosters both learning and connection. I also have a year of professional experience working in a nursery and forest school setting, primarily in the preschool room with children aged 3-4, where I developed skills in managing routines, supporting developmental milestones, and encouraging curiosity through play. Additionally, as the eldest among nine younger cousins, I’ve had the privilege of babysitting for them throughout their lives, which has given me hands-on experience in creating a safe, loving, and structured environment.
My Qualifications
I have a 2:1 degree in psychology and have up to date safeguarding training as of October 2024. I am willing to complete a course in paediatric first aid if that is desired.
