About Me
Age: 27. I grew up in Englefield Green, just outside of London, and moved to London at the age of 15. I attended Godolphin & Latymer school for girls and went on to study in New York for university. I am currently working at a U.S.-based education start-up. The hours are flexible and I am looking for a new way to fill the time/make money on the side when I am working from home in the UK. I sometimes travel for work to Boston but am primarily based in London. I grew up in a Russian and French-speaking household, and am comfortable with both languages. If you'd like me to speak with your child in either of these I'd be happy to. I also love being outdoors and coming up with fun and creative games (even my adult friends will vouch for this).
My Experience
I have my DBS check. I work at an ed-tech startup and love all aspects of education and teaching. I used to want to be a teacher but have carved myself a place in the field of education technology instead. I absolutely love the work that I do, but I also long to fulfill my dream of being a teacher. I had the idea of starting to babysit on the side and think that this would be a fun way to supplement my professional life. Will happily help with homework. I have a 3-year-old nephew and often take care of my brother's dog called Baby (this has to count for something?).
My Qualifications
I have a DBS check. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts with a concentration in translation studies. Completing FREC Level 3 (first aid) from 25-29 October.
My Availability
I work U.S. (EST) hours but as it's a start-up my hours are very flexible.
