About Me
Hello! My name is Leah, I am 21 years old and I'm currently studying Childhood Studies at university and have a strong passion for working with children. Prior to my studies i was an early years practitioner for 2 years where i enjoyed creating meaningful learning experiences. In addition to this i have worked two summers in a summer camp in America, the first time as an Au Pair and the second as a counsellor.
My Experience
Early Years Practitioner- Although having experience in all rooms in the nursery i was mainly in the 0-2 room. I completed a modern apprenticeship to get my qualification meaning i have substantial experience.
Summer Camp Au Pair: Looked after two children aged 6-8 whilst their parents worked within the camp, planned enriching and exciting daily experiences for the children
Summer Camp Counsellor: I lived in a cabin with 10 campers, i ensured they were all safe, happy and included during their time at camp. I also worked on the sports field and carried out many sports activities daily for children aged 9-16.
In addition to this experience i have previously volunteered at the brownies.
My Qualifications
SCQF Level 7 social services, children and young people.
I am also first aid trained and i am currently studying BA childhood studies.
My Availability
I have availability most weekends during the day/evening.

Leah is our new babysitter. She is reliable, professional, kind, confident , handles our 2 year old fantastically. Our daughter loves her, gets excited when she knows she is coming round.
