Hi, my name is Lynda. I live by the sea with my two beautiful boys aged 18 and 21, two cats ?and a new kitten. I love art, music, nature and cooking. I love to be outside, exploring and learning about the world around me and appreciating the little things.
I am honest, caring, hardworking, reliable, adaptable, have a good sense of humour and love to play!
I work holistically, allowing the child to lead through play and creativity.

My Experience
I have been working in childcare and education for over 25 years having experience with newborns to teens. My most recent childcare position was in an early years setting as the Special Educational Needs Coordinator. (3 years)
Prior to this I worked as a Play Therapist in local schools and private settings.
I am registered with the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy as a Play and Creative Art Therapist and Parent/Child Attachment Practitioner.
I have also worked as a teaching assistant and 1-1 SEN practitioner and organised play groups when my own children were preschoolers.
My Qualifications
:Post Graduate Diploma in Play and Creative Arts Therapy at Leeds Beckett University.
:BA Hons first class degree in Fine and Applied Arts at Canterbury Christchurch University.
:Level 2&3 Early Years Childhood Studies
:CSEs in English, science, maths, history, PE, art.
My Availability
I’m pretty flexible but would like my evenings to myself but maybe the occasional one would be ok. I drive, so school runs are no problem. I’m happy to cook and clean if needed too.
