About Me
I'm 29 and I live in Mill Hill with my husband, 30, our daughter, Mila (June 2021) and our son, Finley (April 2024). I'm half Spanish so I'm teaching my children Spanish as well as English. When I’m not with my beautiful babies, I love to read, write and paint. I love being around nature, going on walks and drinking tea but my absolute favourite place to be is curled up by a fire with a good book.
My children are well mannered, respectful and very easy to get on with. They both sleep 12 hours a night and eat pretty much anything we give them.
Mila is very intelligent and emotionally mature for her age as I spend a lot of time talking to her about anything and everything. She’s a sensitive little soul and can get quite emotional and cuddly when something sets her off, like a sad Disney movie. She loves learning and when you talk to her she pays attention to every single thing you say. Her understanding of certain things is just astounding and her attention to detail is actually quite shocking. She notices things that we don’t even pick up on. She’s so good at listening to instructions but can a stubborn little thing when she wants to be, like any other 3 year old. She has a wicked sense of humour too, and makes us laugh until our sides hurt most days.
Finley is only 10 months but is already such a little character. He explores everything with his hands and mouth which means he needs eyes on him all the time. He has launched himself off the changing table before (luckily I was right there to catch him!) and is partial to the odd bit of cardboard when he’s exploring the cereal boxes in the larder (before I finally moved them from his reach). He is the most laid back little guy and will go to pretty much anyone without any complaints.
We try to avoid excessive screen time and instead prefer to read books, play toys/games and get outside. A healthy diet is very important to me for my children as I strongly believe that diet is linked behaviour. People who come to our house often comment on how calm the atmosphere is. We aren’t a massively loud family but we would love a nanny who has a lot of personality and gets the kids excited to be with them.
My Requirements
We are looking for a friendly, energetic and fiercely protective person to be a part time nanny for our children. I am a stay at home mum but just need a second pair of hands at home 3 days a week in the afternoon (anytime from midday) and evenings to help with school pick up, preparing dinner, and putting the kids to bed.
As well as a consistent routine, we would like our part time nanny to be able to take on ad hoc days by themselves (without myself and my husband around). For example, during the day as and when necessary, putting the kids to bed if we go out for the evening, or to stay the night in our guest room if we go away.
Depending on whether we find someone suitable, we may potentially grow our family and have a third baby so we are looking for someone long term.
Please message me if you think you’d be a great fit for the role in our little family :)
