About Me
Hi, I'm Caroline and I've been registered with Ofsted as a childminder since 2008. I live with my husband Steve and my daughter Danielle (who is 21 and usually away at Uni), in Kemsing Village just outside Sevenoaks. We all hold DBS checks.
As a qualified child-minder, I enjoy my job immensely. After spending sometime at home after being made redundant from management in the retail industry, I grasped the opportunity to do something that I loved; to help children achieve and succeed.
I’m lucky - everyday the children make me laugh. I provide good quality care in a home from home environment and ensure that all children are happy, safe, secure and feel so comfortable, they treat my house like a second home.
I’m reliable and flexible and do what I can to meet the needs of working parents.
I'm proud to say that for all my Ofsted inspections, I have achieved 'Good.'
I provide stimulating activities and fun outings to develop them socially, physically, intellectually and emotionally. I like to form close relationships with the parents to help achieve this. I complete learning journeys with photographs of their children having fun and doing lots, using a secure online platform so parents can access it to see what their child has been enjoying.
I have public liability and references are available from my current parents.
I take vouchers and government funding as I am an eligible childminder.

My Qualifications
I have completed Cache Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare achieving A grades in each of the four papers. I hold a current Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid and have various hygiene certificates. I attend courses to continue my professional development and only choose ones that run at weekends or weekday evenings.
My Availability
I work from Monday to Thursday, start at 8.00 and normally finish by 17.30 but times are negotiable.
Currently I am full and have a waiting list.

Our son, has been with Caroline since he was 10 months old, he is nearly 19 months now. In our opinion she is an excellent childminder. This is both in terms of how happy our child is and how well he has developed. We love his smile when we are walking to her door. It means a lot to us and helps working parents to leave for work stress and hassle free.
She is very experienced and has a natural talent and empathy with children. She is very good at noticing which toys and activities he enjoys and lets us know. She is very observant about his development and good at keeping us informed. She has a warm and loving home, Chris is always happy to attend, and a kind and amazing with children dog, which for us is a great bonus.
Caroline is very thoughtful and it’s the personal touch we like most such as the lovely handmade items made for Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day etc.
We would definitely highly recommend Caroline. She is such a lovely person and makes our boy feels very welcome in her home.

Really excellent. Our daughter loves it at Caroline's.
She handled the switch from nanny to childminder extremely well, filling the day with interesting activities in a caring, loving, environment.
Nothing is too much and every day a delight!
