Welcome to Little Risers Childcare!
An OFSTED registered, term-time only childminding service based in Crawcrook, Ryton.
Run by Hannah, a qualified teacher with over 18 years experience in the classroom. Little Risers aims to provide outstanding childcare within a safe, inclusive and inspiring environment in order to foster a life-long love of learning!
More about the setting:
We offer a designated indoor playroom within our detached family home on The Valley Rise estate, based on the practices of Montessori, Reggio Emilia and The Curiosity Approach. We also have a large enclosed and secure garden which includes a play and create area. (Pirate ship, slide, large chalking board and potion making area).
Little Risers will follow a half termly "topic" driven curriculum to allow the children to stretch their imaginations and develop in the 7 areas of learning in the EYFS and Development Matters.
All meals provided are home-cooked and an emphasis will be placed upon the social aspect of sharing meal times as a childminding "family".
My Experience
I have enjoyed a long career in main stream secondary education however, during the COVID lockdown spent with my own small children, I had time to reassess my role within education.
I realised that the place I could make the greatest difference to a child's future was working within an early years setting as the formative years are pivotal in determining success in future life.

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.75 per hour
There are two fee rates for childminding to choose from:
1. Hourly Rate
2. Daily Rate
Full home-cooked meals and snacks are included.
General outing expenses, e.g. bus journeys, treats, local entrance fees, toddler groups, etc.
NB: Nappies/Wipes/Baby Milk must be provided if your child is not yet weaned and/or potty trained.
