My Experience

My role involves providing a hands-on and supportive care to young adults with various learning disabilities and helping them to engage with learning activities, community activities and basic life skills. This includes assisting young adults in managing their financial affairs, daily living activities and health care needs. I am also responsible for liaising and working with families, other professionals and services to ensure the overall well-being of the people I support.

My duties and responsibilities have included providing personal care and supervision, aiding in fostering positive relationships, managing challenging behaviours, planning and organising a range of activities and trips, keeping records of the people I support, participating in team meetings and communicating effectively with other professionals.

I have gained and developed my skills with training in person-centred planning, autism, dementia, medication management, communication and assertiveness.

I have a passion in making a difference in people’s lives and am motivated to ensure that I help young adults with learning disabilities to gain independence and self-confidence.

My Qualifications

- Health Care young adults with special needs. Epilepsy, Autism, ADHD
- Level 4 NVQ Dental Technician

My Availability

I am available to work on any weekdays or weekends and am open to early morning or late night shifts.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
