About Me
I am a mother to two sweet and funny girls, one is 3 (nearly 4) and one is 6 years old and we are looking for a part time nanny to become part of the family. I work in London two days a week and otherwise from home, but I would generally expect not to be working at home while you are taking care of the children.
My Requirements
Part time nannying for 2 or 3 full days with extra hours in school holidays if possible.
Usual weekly hours can be between 21 to 30 hours depending on your preference. Flexibility for (very) occasional evening cover is essential, but this is unlikely to happen much; I just need the peace of mind as I am a single parent.
For a few months I will need you to work at the girls' dad's house every other week and otherwise at my house. From the end of July 2024, you will be paid for all weeks but only work every other week at my house and not at their dad's. Similarly, some of your hours will be while the children are at school from September 2024.
I am looking for someone for usual nursery duties: taking caring of children outside school hours, planning fun craft activities, preparing healthy meals and some very light housekeeping e.g. doing the dishwasher if you will be reloading it and have time. No other housekeeping is required as I have someone else to help with that. As there will be lots of time during the day when the children are at school, some "bigger" child related tasks like organising toys or sorting through their clothes to find what doesn't fit would also be very helpful, as would batch cooking meals for the children or similar.
I live very close to the train station and town centre so driving is not essential.
