About Me
Little Bird's Childminders is a Linthwaite based home childcare service. We offer a cosy home-from-home environment where we focus on nurturing, caring and developing each child individually.
My Experience
I have experience with children aged from newborn to 15 years old and I have a toddler myself. I have extensive special educational needs experience (including autism, ADHD, epilepsy, speech and language difficulties) and have previously worked with twins. I have provided tutoring, homework help and housework assistant.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I have spaces available from 15th January 2024.
I am paediatric first aid trained and have attended many online CPD courses relating to childcare, childminding, food safety.
My Qualifications
I have childcare training in developing children's learning, recording children's development, understanding and working with the EYFS, safeguarding children and designated lead and leading and managing a childcare setting.
I have a Master of Science degree in Psychology in Education and a first-class degree in Education Studies.
My Availability
I currently only have availability for before and after school pickups at Linthwaite Ardon or Linthwaite Clough Primary schools.

My son attended for the half term break only as childcare is proving to be challenging in Huddersfield. I was very nervous as this would be my son's 6th childcare setting in the space of 1 year due to limitations around wrap around full year childcare. I was put at ease though and he was so happy after her first day and continued with that happiness the rest of the week. He didn't even want to go back to school. I would highly recommend Eloise. The activities both at home and out of the home sounded really fun too and there were lots!
