About Me
My name is Shamari, and I would like to welcome you to Early Nurturing Childminding. I live with my two wonderful daughters aged 7 and 4 years old.
I am very passionate about looking after children and aim to provide your child with a friendly, safe and nurturing home from home environment.
Early Nurturing is based not too far from Clapham Common and Tooting Common. We also have the lovely Agnes Riley Gardens and Playground on our doorsteps so being outdoors is 100% guaranteed.
I Nurture children from 3 months-5years old
The main childcare room is bright, colourful and children have access to a large selection of stimulating and educational toys. I believe that children learn through play, so their play should be valued and supported. Child led and free play is encouraged, I will also have themes and activities throughout the year in which the children will be encouraged to participate in, should they wish to do so. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and its high standards for learning, development, and care for children from birth to 5years old.
Being a mummy myself I understand what an emotional roller coaster it can be finding the right person to care for your child. I can assure you that I am passionate about providing first class childcare, and my deep understanding of the EYFS will help me assist children in their development and to help them grow into happy confident children.

Shamari is an amazing young lady! She is proving extremely adequate and gentle childminding. She is easy to communicate with. Always very nice and positive. She has been always on time for pick up times. Giving me a courtesy messages when she has the kids every time. Always Responding to my requests in a timely manner.
My children enjoy staying with hers, as they are always occupied with fun activities and educational after-school care. She provides delicious and healthy food every single time. My kids have always said what they’ve ate was “yummy” and filling. Shamari has a gentle approach when being with the kids and they always come back home smiling, happy and settled.
Definitely recommend her childcare (and I am one of those parents, who are really picky when leaving my children with other people)!

I was looking for childcare as I had to go back to work, I was recommended the childcare app then came across Early Nurturing Childminding so I messaged and I got a response quickly.
I went and had a look I was very impressed I was showed everything certificates qualification the lot without even asking for it, everything was explained very clearly and easy to understand.
I decided to go with Early Nurturing Childminding and it’s the best decision I’ve made my son is very very happy his development has really become noticeable and in his time there he does a lot, one thing my son comes back to me more happy and that’s all I ever wanted.
Shamari’s communication is exceptional I’m well informed with his day to day activities what he ate his nap times everything, I couldn’t of made a better choice I feel so at easy leaving my son in Shamari’s care I can go to work knowing he is in good hands.
Thank you for your service and for being you I couldn’t have ask for a better person for my son.

We are introduced at a local child centre and coincidentally our kids go to the same school but different year. Our family struggled to have our then 2 year old settle with another childminder but our daughter really warmed up to Shamari and her adorable and kind daughter's. She has a brilliant professional setting with lots of new educational toys, books, outdoor and indoor kitchen, sandpit and our child was never short of educational and sensory activities. At times our daughter would ask Shamari to go see ducks or go playground and Sharmari always delivered. She was also very accommodating with our child's dietary needs and drop off / pick up times. She comes highly recommended as both my daughters talk highly off her. As our youngest daughter now joins her older sister and Shamari's kids at school, therefore we no longer require her help, instead we will see each other in a social setting at school events. I would give Sharmari 10 stars if the app had the option!!

Our daughter settled very well with Shamari. She respects children’s individual needs and pace and our child and others are clearly happy and feeling at home. She has a great range of stimulating resources and her interaction with children is warm, supportive and welcoming. Thank you Shamari!!

Shamari is totally brilliant! She has booked after both our nephews aged 4&6 - during the school holidays, before they went to school and helping us with occasional baby sitting. She is always calm and extremely caring and we trust her implicitly with the boys. She built really strong and lovely bonds with the boys, whilst also setting clear boundaries. They really love spending time with her (and her lovely girls). Her flat and set-up is super child friendly and centered with loads of toys and crafts - and plants on the balcony. She would always come up with really creative and fun activates, and entertain them whilst teaching them new skills. She always kept us up to date on how they were doing with photos and the boys always had a blast with her. They loved her meal times too - always healthy and delicious. She is incredibly kind, caring and gentle, whilst also brilliantly managing some challenging behaviour and letting nothing faze her. We are extremely grateful for her support and would 100% recommend her to any family!

Shamari has been looking after my daughter for a couple of months now and we couldn’t be happier! Shamari always does such fun activities with her and keeps us updated with how she is doing. Our little girl is always very happy going to Shamari. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
