A little about me...
I work full time with teenagers and have done for 7 years now in different roles.
In my spare time I am very crafty (crocheting, cross stitch) and enjoy reading/listening to audio books. I also enjoy going for walks and exploring new places, going to the gym, and trying out new fitness classes!
I have a degree in Psychology and one day I'd like to go back to university.
My Experience
I currently work with vulnerable teenagers in the community. Before that, I worked in residential childrens homes for 6 years. This has provided me with various training; safeguarding, child development, attachment as well as following therapeutic approaches.
I have volunteered with children with additional needs during the school holidays for a year which I really enjoyed.
In addition to this, I have children in my family and friend circle where I have baby sat new born's to 6 year olds; bath times, lunches/dinner, days out, sensory activities at home.
I have a good understanding of children's development due to my qualifications (health and social care, psychology, previous children's first aid, attachment, safeguarding) and I am confident in my abilities with all aged children. I enjoy arts and crafts, playing in the garden/park, reading with children and young people and letting their imagination play!

Payge looked after my 3 and 4 year old while I attended a child free event. Both children enjoyed spending time with payge and I would be happy to use her again.
