I'm a third year social work student who has always loved working with children and families. I have experience working in nurseries and with family support groups. I studied heath and social care to level 3 and have a good understanding of child development. I am first aid trained; this is paramount when looking after children. I am a caring and attentive individual who has the best interest of children.
My Experience
I have worked in nurseries previously, I was based with early years - 2-4 years olds. I have also done work with children and families; I prepared simple meals, did activities with the children, did school or nursery pickups, supervised nap time and supervised local visits. I also have experience doing normal bedtime routine. I have had experience working in a mother and baby group; here I supervised children and hosted the mothering support group. I have had experience with a befriending service; here I accompanied elderly individuals - providing support and accompanying local trips.
