Hello! My name is Kirsty, I’m a 26-year-old female from Bath. Currently, I am living in Australia, however will be moving home at the end of October. Ready to join a family in early November.
Before leaving Bath last year, I proudly served as an on-call firefighter for Avon Fire and Rescue, where I've honed my skills in responsibility, quick decision-making, and, most importantly, keeping people safe. Additionally to this, worked with three families on a temporary bases, caring for young children ages 5 months - 6 years old( References available on request).
Being an active and adventurous individual, I have an unwavering passion for all things outdoors. Whether it's hiking, biking, or simply exploring nature's wonders, you can always count on me to bring an enthusiastic spirit to any activity.
Having a clean driving license and access to my own car means that transportation will never be a concern. I understand the importance of being punctual and reliable, especially when it comes to childcare.
Apart from keeping your little ones safe and happy, I'm also quite the culinary enthusiast. Preparing nutritious and delicious meals for your family is something I take pride in. Additionally, I'm more than willing to lend a helping hand with household chores, ensuring that your home remains tidy and organised.

My Experience
Working with children has been an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience for me. My journey began when I started teaching windsurfing to both children and adults. It was wonderful to share my passion for the sport and witness their progress and joy as they learned to navigate the waves. Teaching children brought a unique sense of satisfaction because of the boundless enthusiasm they brought to each lesson.
Aside from windsurfing, I also had the privilege of providing childcare for families through the Childcare app, ages ranging from 5 months - 6 years old. I quickly discovered that my nurturing and empathetic nature allowed me to create a strong bond with the children I cared for.
I have been fortunate to receive positive feedback from parents and family members.
Working with children has taught me patience, adaptability, and the ability to see the world through fresh eyes. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities for learning and growth, both for the children and for me.
My Qualifications
DBS Check, First Aid trained- as a firefighter I am trained to a high level of first aid.
Happy to register as a childminder or take a specific first aid course if required
