About Me
I absolutely love working with kids! I am a very bubbly babysitter and responsible, with a joyful 2+ years of working with children, and seeing them happy makes me happy! I am a friendly and enthusiastic university student studying psychology.
I am available to offer both babysitting and tutoring services to children from nursery- secondary school. I have a very flexible schedule and will be able to cater that to the family and child’s needs, as well as being happy to do overnight shifts. As a caring eldest sister of 2 very young siblings, I understand the varying needs of children and am happy to provide exceptional services tailoring to each child’s needs (or multiple when necessary).
Also, I love music and dancing as well as being a very active person, who volunteers weekly at church, also working with kids (and I really love it)! I speak English and Portuguese fluently and can offer a fun yet professional service.
My Experience
I was previously employed at Thorpe park, a family- friendly theme park in which I got to deal with varying ages of children on a daily basis. I also have babysitting experience, feeding, changing nappies, playing and taking children out, as well as providing tutoring services last year. Additionally I worked as a drama assistant for kids at a secondary school throughout two years, having to manage 20+ kids on a regular basis and can therefore provide a dedicated yet very fun service, making it enjoyable for the children. On top of this, I also volunteered at a registered charity for 5 years (teaching kids, leading creative teams, receptionist and serving to others’ needs when appropriate), giving me skills that are crucial to babysitting, such as caring to needs, problem-solving, cooking and constant interaction with children of varying ages and demands.
I am also currently volunteering weekly at church, working with kids (lessons, songs and fun activities) and have a passion and joy when working with children!
My Qualifications
I am fully DBS checked as well as having 2+ years of childcare services in professional environments and am in the process of completing a first aid course
My Availability
I am available Monday-Saturday (preferably afternoon and evening shifts, but am happy to do any time of the day).
