My Experience

As part of my Childcare GCSE, I volunteered at our school's nursery, where I played
an integral role in the daily operations and developmental activities of the children.
This experience allowed me to develop skills essential for working in childcare and
education. For example, activity Planning and Organisation where I designed and
organised a variety of engaging activities tailored to the children's developmental
stages. These activities were not only entertaining but also aimed at promoting their
holistic development, including cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth.
This volunteer experience developed my patience, attention to detail, and ability to
create a nurturing and structured environment for young children.

As a Pharmacy Assistant at West London Pharmacy, I gained extensive experience in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. My role involved providing excellent customer service, working closely with pharmacists, and acquiring knowledge of brand and generic medications. I managed cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and was responsible for restocking shelves and taking deliveries. Working under pressure, especially during the pandemic, taught me resilience and adaptability. I adhered to strict health and safety guidelines, ensuring the well-being of customers and staff. This role significantly enhanced my customer service, teamwork, and medical knowledge.

During the Eid celebrations, I ran a small henna service business, providing intricate henna designs to clients. I managed all aspects of the business, from planning and and client management. Utilising social media and word-of-mouth marketing, I built a customer base and provided personalised service, enhancing my communication skills. I applied intricate henna designs, continuously improving my techniques to meet diverse client preferences. Efficiently managing my schedule during the busy Eid period required excellent time management and adaptability. This entrepreneurial venture enhanced my business management, customer service, and financial literacy skills, equipping me with the confidence to handle multiple responsibilities and deliver high-quality service.

My Qualifications

My highest level of qualification is A-level where I did Biology, psychology and sociology
I did GCSEs in Photography, Childcare and Geography along side Maths English and Science
