About Me
Hello, welcome to Teeno's.
I live with my Husband, our 10 year old daughter (going on 18).
After practicing law for 17yrs, I'm returning to my passion in childcare. My aim is to help build on the foundation you (as the parent/caregiver) have laid for each child, by providing a happy, safe and secure environment where there is lots of laughter, fun and full bellies!
On offer is a range of great daily activities, learning opportunities, languages and even baking/cooking! I will support the learning of each child's needs and next steps through various activities - structured/free play, story time, creating time, song time, arts and crafts, trips to parks/ libraries/zoos, and nearby woodlands (to name a few!). There is also a lovely, secure garden which the children have access to.
My ethos is that through play, nurture and discovery, all children can learn and grow into the best version of themselves. I will therefore plan each day meticulously, guided by each child's own interests and next developmental steps, to assist each child to meet their milestone. Don't worry, I will keep a record of every step of the journey for you. :-)
Healthy meals and snacks are provided in line with my Healthy Eating Policy. (All inclusive of pricing). I provide milk and water only.
My Experience
In my capacity as a Mother, Sister, Aunty and Friend, I have cared for a number of children from newborn babies.
At Mr Crow's Creative Workshop (School Holiday Club abroad), before commencing my legal career, I was Lead for the Arts and Crafts. (Best school breaks ever!) and bring the passion for creation in to every day.
My Qualifications
I have attained qualifications in the following (not an exhaustive list) :
• Learning and Development in the EYFS
• Safeguarding 1 and 2: Child Protection
• Paediatric First Aid
• Food and Hygiene
I will continue to develop my skills by attending regular Continued Professional Development training sessions throughout the year. This will ensure the children continue to benefit as they grow.
My Availability
Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 17:00.
(Limited VACANCIES Available).
Drop off/Pick Up from Milby Primary School, Nuneaton.
Breakfast Club - 07:30 - 08:30.
Standard Hours - 09:00 - 15:00.
After School Club - 15:00 - 17:00.
School Holiday Camps – 08:00 - 17:00.
*Out of Hours may be available for an additional cost.
