About Me
I have worked in education for over 12 years as both a qualified teacher and teaching assistant in early years and Key Stage 1. Prior to this, I worked as a registered childminder providing home based childcare for babies and young children.
I provide tuition for children from 4 to 7 years specialising in Phonics, including support/catch up in preparation for Y1 Phonics testing, as well as reading and writing (including handwriting). I also teach maths for children up to 7 years.
I use a range of practical and engaging teaching methods to encourage confidence and a love of learning. This includes developing a learning programme tailored for each individual child according to their needs and abilities. I am committed to helping children reach their full potential and build their confidence in becoming independent learners.
I have a full DBS check and Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

Linda has been tutoring our daughter for over 18 months. She is incredibly passionate, understanding and kind person, who can find the right approach for every child. We were deeply impressed how she can engage a little one and find how to encourage one. She helped us to settle down in a new country and ensure that our daughter who barely spoke any English is now doing very well at school comparing to other kids!
We couldn't recommend her more.... We will definitely come back to Linda with our second child!
