About Me
My name is Natasha and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Whitby, Ellesmere Port close to Christchurch and Whitby Heath primary school. I live with my husband, our two children Teddy (3) and Francesca (1) and our beloved cat Maverick.
My Experience
I am an EYFS teacher with over 7 years experience in nursery and reception. I decided to leave the classroom behind and continue my love for the early years and work closely with children and their families from my home. I am peadiatric first aid trained and have attended multiple safeguarding courses. I aim to provide a warm and loving environment with a huge emphasis on outdoor learning whether that be out in our mud kitchen getting nice and muddy or out in the community socialising in local groups and attending our local library.

Ba(Hons) Education and childhood studies
Postgraduate certificate in education with qualified teacher status

My Availability
We possibly have some end of the week availability before christmas.
We have full time weekday spaces available starting in January 2024.

Our 2 year old son has been with Natasha for the last 6 months after being looked after solely by family, and Natasha has made his transition in to childcare so easy and comfortable. He can sometimes struggle with being away from family but he always calms down quickly with encouragement and support from Natasha, who has gone out of her way to personalise our son's handovers and always reassures us that he has settled down shortly after he has arrived.
We receive regular updates on our son's day, there are always fun and interactive activities with an educational theme behind them at Natasha's home, with frequent days out to local parks, farms, Chester Zoo etc.
We have seen a positive improvement in our son's interactions including his vocabulary, social skills, understanding and logical thinking and he comes away every week excited to share his latest developments with us.
Natasha is a credit to our son and we couldn't be happier with her as our son's childminder, she has exceeded our expectations and it's a joy to watch him grow under Natasha's care.
