About Me

We are a family of 5 with 3 girls aged 5, 3 and 5 months. Both my partner and myself are medics and work shift patterns and we are looking for a Nanny who is reliable and is confident to work independently whilst we are at work and is organised in order to ensure the children are taken and picked up form school and pre-school on time. We are happy for the Nanny to take the children to local groups, arrange play dates or go on adventures nearby! We live in a lovely area of Bristol, close to local amenities, a great park close by and easy access to the centre. We have a fair sized garden and an allotment at the back too so if you are interested in teaching the children about growing home produce that would be a bonus. Dad will occasionally be at home but he has a office in the garden.
We attempt to parent with a respectful, calm and mindful approach but this does not always happen!

The eldest child is 5 years and is at school full time, she is creative and loves arts and craft activities. The 3 year old attends Pre-school and loves swimming and climbing, is an easy going character and goes with the flow. The baby is 6 months (currently) and is in a fairly good routine. Most of the care during the day will be for the baby.

This position will suit a Nanny who is fun, enjoys spending time outdoors and engaging in outdoor activities with the children. A Nanny who is confident, organised and has up to date knowledge of the EYFS and providing age appropriate activities for these ages, able to set boundaries but is also relaxed and flexible with these boundaries. We are open to candidates that have worked in nursery settings and are looking at starting their nanny career, they are just looking for the right fit for them.

This is a permanent position.

My Requirements

Live Out Nanny
After School Nanny
Part Time Nanny

Your duties will be all child related nursery duties including school and pre-school drop off and pick ups. These are within walking distance so would be good to find someone who is happy to walk each day to carry these out. Someone who is happy to help with family laundry and cook family meals or batch cook would be a bonus! We do not eat much meat so if you have experience of vegetarian cooking that would be great but not essential. There could be the potential for extra hours, due to parents shifts, maybe working later one day or the occasional weekend.
