About Us

Little Houghton Day Nursery is a beautifully converted old school setting in the picturesque village of Little Houghton, offering full time and part time care to children aged 0-5 years old.

We pride ourselves on offering excellent care for children and families and see every child as an individual, and we also ensure that we provide a range of opportunities and learning environments, so that each child is able to discover their unique and individual talents and interests.

The nursery is made up of three naturally light-filled rooms with plenty of space for the children to explore. All of our rooms are specifically designed to engage the children’s curiosity. The baby room also has a separate sleep room which houses cots so we can ensure that young children have good-quality naps throughout the day. All children make the most of our outdoor space, all year round. Outdoor play is encouraged, no matter the weather. We liaise with teachers from the local primary schools to ensure that children are well prepared for the next stage in their education.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

We are very lucky to be located in the beautiful village of Little Houghton. It is a quiet village so we are able to regularly go on walks to visit the local park, the Scout’s Field and various animals.
