About Me
I am a mum of 3, and a qualified BHS equine instructor of 30 years - teaching children from 3 years +.
As a childminder, I provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Our setting is very much a home from home where the children are supported as unique individuals and are valued and loved. Working alongside me is my daughter, Katy, who very much shares the same ethos and values.
My Experience
I am a qualified BHS equine instructor of 30 years. My role here involved teaching children as young as 3 to ride and care for horses. I am a mother of 3 children, now aged 25, 22, and 17 whom I raised whilst running the behind the scenes of my husband’s business. During this time, I also cared for friends children who struggled to settle at nursery, and most recently my nephew from 12 weeks old. My caring nature also transpired through to my parents-in-law who both have sadly suffered with dementia. Whilst preparing for my ofsted registration, I had taken on some part time nanny work - however I am now fully registered as a childminder with some early years spaces available.
