Hello! Thankyou for your consideration! I'm a stay at home mum to 5 children, 2 of which are special needs. But don't let the number scare you! My eldest daughter is 13 and is a very friendly helpful responsible young woman, then my eldest son is 12 he's diagnosed autistic and adhd and is very intelligent and witty, he's like an old man in a child's body and he's very self sufficient. Next my 7 year old daughter is very shy and very well behaved such an angel, when feels more comfortable she might show you a cartwheel or two she's very athletic. She also will help lots with the youngest two. So the next one is the tricky one, he's 4 years old and is waiting for assessment for ADHD and Autism. He can me such a sweetheart so cheeky cute but then will have multiple meltdowns daily that sometimes involves throwing and hitting. To combat this he needs strong routines, Alot of attention and compassion and good boundaries and discipline. He does enjoy independent play however. Finally the 1 year old is very easy going and very happy boy. He loves to be spoken to and understands Alot even though he can't speak much yet. He loves being included in activities with his older siblings as much as possible and will gravitate towards you wherever you are in the house.
My Requirements
I'm looking for a few hours on a weekday for my youngest two between school times so I can do driving lessons or going swimming or a coffee with my freind.
And then also an odd evening/ weekend sitter here and there for them all so me and my partner can go out for dinner.
I will require a short visit here at home with me first I will pay for the whole hour, this is so we can have a cuppa and I can get to know you and you the kids. Because my 4 year old can need full attention, and be a handful so I'm hoping to find someone who will see him through compassionate eyes and hopefully already have experience with autism/ADHD.
I myself am a very positive happy person, and I will be understanding if we are not a great fit for you. We are at first sight a big family with lots of energy and chaos, but if the right person will get to know us I know they will see the beautiful characters and great relationships the kids have with eachother.
