About Me

I’m Amy and in 2023 I set up All Aboard Childcare. I offer a home from home environment for babies and young children aged from newborn - 2.5 years.
I live with my partner Matt, 2 boys - Dexter who is 5 and Max who is 2 and our dog, Millie.
I strive to provide the best possible care and environment to enable your little one to flourish! Activities will be planned around each child’s interests to engage them and build on what they already know. They will also get to share in their friends interests too. It has been lovely seeing all the relationships grow between the children and how they have all become such close friends.
We love being outside, going to the park, playing in the woods, walking to Hawley Lake, ‘cooking’ in the mud kitchen, sharing picnics, water play and much more. We also like to attend local playgroups

My Experience
I have previous experience working in day nurseries where I had the opportunity to work with children ages 3 months - 5 years. Most of my time there was as baby room leader, a position that I loved!
I also have nannying experience from new born to school age.
Most recently I worked for a local authority as a support officer for childminders and day nurseries. It was doing this job that I decided I wanted to be a childminder.
After I had my second son it felt like the right time to start childminding and it is working wonderfully for our family. My boys love having the other children around and are the first to the door in the morning to welcome them into our home for some play based learning and so much fun!

NVQ level 2 childcare
NVQ level 3 childcare
Foundation degree in early years studies

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
£6 an hour per child
£7.50 an hour for temp contracts and ad hoc
£8 school drop off (7:30-9am)
Contribution to meals (varies, see contract)
