About Us

Situated in Worcestershire, The Old Station Nursery Bromsgrove provides high quality childcare within a secure environment that radiates a ‘home-from-home’ feel. The nursery is made up of four individual spacious rooms, carefully designed for the children to become independent learners, with plentiful age-appropriate resources, inviting them to control their own learning and development. The nursery provides full time and part time care for children aged 0-5 years.

The baby room ‘Little Dreamers’ for those aged 0 – 6 months, provides a variety of sensory experiences, through everyday objects such as different textured equipment and helping to promote exploration and investigation of the environment.

The ‘Discoverers Room’ is designed for babies aged 6 – 12 months, and is where encouragement of independence is continued, further supporting children to learn their first words whilst playing and communicating with their peers.

The toddler room ‘Explorers’ is for children aged 1-2 years and aims to start supporting little ones with building and cementing friendship, as well as being introduced to key aspects of the Early Years Statutory Framework such as learning about letters, numbers and colours.

The Pre-School room for children aged 2-4 years, incorporates all areas of learning, including: messy play, physical education, construction skills, mathematics, sensory play, and lots more. This room also focuses on preparing children for their next stage of learning at ‘big school’, providing an opportunity for ‘Our People’ and ‘Our Families’ to work together to ensure each child feels ready and confident for this important milestone.

We are open from 7:30am - 6pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year (we are closed at Christmas and on bank holidays).
