I am a creative, organised and reliable. I'm a Textile Designer and Teacher and alongside being self employed I’d like to nanny to earn some extra income.
My Experience
I’ve had over five years of child care experience. From nannying through Covid to working in an Early Years centre and Primary School and most recently working in a secondary school as a support worker. These experiences provided me with the skills needed to help children be safe and creative while helping them to learn and grow in a positive environment.
In Primary and High School I grew my knowledge of working with varied ages and learning levels. I was involved in lessons, teaching spelling and math while also providing creative projects and games for the children. In these roles I also provided first aid.
It was great nannying for two children ages 3 and 4 while being self employed, so I would like to achieve this work life balance again. I would do breakfast, drop off at nursery to post nursery with games, craft and dinner then bed time. I enjoyed being able to do creative projects and activities with them.
My Qualifications
I graduated With a First (Honours) in Textile Design at Edinburgh University.
I have a college/A levels in: Art, Textiles, English Language and Geography.
I am currently a sewing teacher
